Juul False Advertising $255M Class Action Settlement: Juul has agreed to pay $255 million to resolve claims that it concealed the addictiveness of its e-cigarette products.
This settlement benefits consumers who purchased Juul products before December 7, 2022. The plaintiffs in this class action lawsuit claim Juul employed false advertising. They argue that had they been fully aware of the risk of addiction, they and many others would not have bought the e-cigarettes. The lawsuit further alleges that Juul's deceptive marketing was intentionally aimed at underage consumers.
If you request a higher payout of more than $300 for retail purchases of Juul products, you may be required to furnish proof of purchase to qualify.

Wipe Out! False Advertising $2M Class Action Settlement: Tzumi Innovations will pay $2 million to resolve a lawsuit claiming it falsely advertised Wipe Out! products as safe and legal to use as surface disinfectants.
Tzumi Innovations has agreed to pay $2 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the firm's deceptive advertisement of Wipe Out! products as safe and authorized surface disinfectants.
Beneficiaries of the settlement are individuals who made purchases of Wipe Out! Wipes, Wipe Out! Multi-Surface Wipes or Wipe Out! Multi-Surface Decontaminant Spray preceding April 19, 2023. Estimated compensation could be $50 for those with proof of purchase and $25 for those without.
The class action lawsuit claims that Tzumi misrepresented its Wipe Out! products as endorsed for use as surface disinfectants. Contrarily, the plaintiffs maintain that these items were never subjected to registration by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The deadline to submit a claim with the false advertising settlement is July 18, 2023.
Hyundai Motor Company has settled a class-action lawsuit pertaining to the assertion that defective anti-lock brake systems (ABS) in a range of Kia vehicles have the potential to instigate engine compartment fires.
This settlement benefits current and former owners and lessees of 2017-2019 Kia Cadenza, 2016-2018 Kia K900, 2013-2015 Kia Optima, 2006-2010 Kia Sedona, 2007-2009 Kia Sorento, 2014-2015 Kia Sorento, 2008-2009 Kia Sportage, 2014-2021 Kia Sportage and/or 2018-2021 Kia Stinger vehicles.
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit maintain that these vehicles harbor a faulty ABS control module, which can provoke fires within the engine compartment, and could result in the ABS ceasing to function. The deadline to submit a claim is July 7, 2023.
Volkswagen And Audi Takata Air Bags Defect $42M Class Action Settlement:
Volkswagen and Audi agreed to pay $42 million to resolve claims that their vehicles contained dangerous Takata airbags, which have been implicated in numerous injuries and fatalities.
This settlement will benefit consumers who owned or leased Volkswagen or Audi vehicles with Takata airbags between February 9, 2015, and November 10, 2021. The lawsuit claims that Volkswagen and Audi were negligent in outfitting their vehicles with these hazardous airbags, which have been implicated in a minimum of 10 deaths and over 100 injuries due to defective inflators that discharge shrapnel when deployed. The deadline to submit a claim is July 8, 2023​.
Walmart Gift Card Scam Remission: Nearly $4 million in remission has been secured by the U.S. Department of Justice in connection with a Walmart gift card scam.
This money is now available to refund customers who fell victim to the scam. This sum represents the total settlement amount involved in the case. Due to the fraudulent scheme, the remission program is designed to benefit consumers who purchased a Walmart gift card between April 1, 2016, and July 31, 2017. The deadline to submit a remission form is July 14, 2023.
