These extremists are fundamentally at odds with everything that this country stands for.

The Met gala is tonight. I should go, wearing a tux that says “Tax Non Sword Owners.” I’ve owned a sword for 4 days, so I’m basically the father of this revolution. Thems the rules.

Patriots and Israel supporters have showed up to counter protests against the terror supporter outside the Met Gala in NYC. Americans will not be intimidated by Islamists.

At the 2025 Met Gala, held on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Within Our Lifetime (WOL) Palestine, a pro-Palestinian activist group, organized protests outside the event to draw attention to the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

WOL Palestine and other demonstrators gathered near the Met Gala, specifically around East 82nd St. and Madison Ave., as well as East 79th St. and 5th Ave., starting around 3 PM. Their actions included chanting “Free Palestine,” waving Palestinian flags, and attempting to disrupt the event to highlight what they describe as the Met’s complicity in the genocide of Palestinians. Protesters faced heavy police presence and barricades but persisted, with some managing to get directly in front of the Gala to make their message visible.

WOL Palestine emphasized the contrast between the event’s display of wealth and the dire situation in Gaza, where they claim no food or aid trucks have entered for two months, leading to mass starvation.

Broader coalition of pro-Palestinian activists participated, rallying under calls like “Surround the Met Gala for Gaza.” The protests were part of a larger demonstration that aimed to disrupt the high-profile event, with some activists alleging the Gala served as a distraction from Israeli military actions in Rafah. No specific actions by other named organizations were detailed in the sources, and police reportedly dispersed the protests by around 9 PM ET.
